LTC Webinar with Cooledge CEO William Sims

In today’s challenging circumstances, we are using technology to continue staying in touch with our members and partners. With stringent social distancing measures in place, we will be hosting our events in online format.

For our first webinar, we were pleased to welcome William Sims, CEO of Cooledge - a global deep tech leader in LED luminous surfaces, providing innovative and fully integrated panel lighting solutions for architectural design, now poised for substantial growth. William was formerly CEO of Color Kinetics, the company largely credited for triggering the lighting industry’s shift towards LED technology. He guided the company to profitability and oversaw its successful IPO and sale to Philips for nearly $800 million.

Following the presentation by William, Paul Thurk, MD of Arch Venture Partners provided his insights on investing in innovative companies. Our guests then had the opportunity to ask questions via online chat.
