Chief Operating Officer
Simon joined London Technology Club as COO bringing with him over 20 years of commercial, communications and technology experience. Simon is a leading practitioner of commercial strategy within tech, sports and entertainment, having advised 11 of the top 30 global brands in the past 5 years alone.
Simon is passionate about brand building and storytelling (especially around fast growth digital tech companies) as well as the impact technology can have around people’s passions. In 2019 Simon authored and published five reports for LTC: The Future Technology in F1, Wine, Art, Philanthropy and Longevity.
Prior to joining LTC, Simon was the Marketing Director of a Formula One team where he applied his challenger mindset to push industry boundaries. Previously Simon was instrumental in driving the growth of the award-winning sports marketing agency Fuse Sport & Entertainment, part of Omnicom Media Group, from 7 to 130 employees in 6 years. Via Omnicom University, Simon is an alumnus of Harvard Business School and has lectured at London Business School on the topic of sports marketing and technology.
Outside of LTC, Simon focuses on the pursuits of Fine Living. Elite fitness; a member of Team GB, placed 26th at Duathlon World Championships Canada (2017). Wine; growing the reputation of emerging Super Tuscan houses and Family; proud father to two young children. He holds a BSc Hons Degree in Psychology from the University of Nottingham.
