Doug joined London Technology Club in September 2023 and is Director of Investor Relations. He is responsible for growing the LTC membership base and fundraising for LTC’s Pledge Funds.

 

Doug has extensive experience working with Alternative Investment Products, namely Venture Capital and Private Equity, and has spent several years advising UHNW’s and Family Offices.

 

Doug joined LTC from dara5, a private investment community helping the next generation of global leaders access Venture Capital through Emerging Fund Managers and directly into companies. He was the first employee hired by the Partners and was integral to helping to build the business. Prior to dara5, Doug spent a sabbatical working in Sydney, Australia, after the merger between Janus Capital and Henderson Global Investors. At Janus Capital he was responsible for Sales & Client Relationship Management of the company’s Equity and Fixed Income Funds for wholesale and discretionary fund management clients in the UK, Ireland & the Channel Islands. Before Janus, Doug worked for a Multi-Family Office in Mayfair where he was responsible for the Sales & Investor Relations process for Alternative Asset Fund teams that had spun out of Hedge Funds, Private Equity and Real Estate Funds and incubated by the Family Office.

 

Outside of LTC, Doug has a keen interest in sport and plays tennis, competing in a club league in South West London. He is a keen traveller, enjoys different cultural cuisines and speaks French & German.
