Future Technology in Audio & Music
at The Little Scarlet Door
23 October 2024
Another fun and inspiring LTC event - focusing on how technology is profoundly transforming the music industry.
A special thank you to Luke Lloyd Davies - Emmy award-winning producer, COO at Rocket Entertainment Group and Director of Sir Elton John and David Furnish’s Global Private Office – for co-hosting the event and sharing his insights and passion for all things music and performance! He was joined by entrepreneurs and disruptors in the audio and music tech space, including the likes of Audiomob, Dice, Empirical Wax, Figaro.io, Korda and others. We discussed key trends in music tech, including the evolution of music streaming and discovery, immersive experiences and advances in performance technology, concert management and fan engagement, and artist copyright protection.
A huge thank you to our members and guests for active engagement and to our fantastic speakers:
-
Sophie Doherty: Director of Content & Account Management (Europe) at DICE - a leading platform revolutionising live event ticketing,
-
Jon Eades: CEO at Figaro.ai - AI-driven search, tagging and content detection for the music industry.
-
Mark Cranwell: Founder & CEO at Empirical Wax, a forward-thinking company specialising in immersive music experiences
The event took place at The Little Scarlet Door, a quirky Soho venue styled as a flat, just minutes from Denmark Street – where many iconic music artists lived and made music – from the Sex Pistols to the Rolling Stones, Hendrix to Clapton, Dylan to Bowie.
