Technology & Media at The Arts Club

03 November 2022

Following our highly successful event in Dubai, we hosted another event on Technology & Media in London. In a lively panel discussion, we looked at how technology is shaping the media landscape - from content creators to streaming pressures, the big bet on the metaverse and tools to build a media empire.

A special thank you to our fantastic panellists:

Lord Ed Vaizey of Didcot, former Minister for Culture, Communications and Creative Industries. In this role he was responsible for the roll out of the rural broadband programme to over 4 million homes, introduction of 4G, and tax credits for film, television, animation and video games, which helped make the creative industries the fastest growing part of the UK economy.

Simon Terrington,  former Director of Content Policy for Ofcom  and CEO of DotVector -  a strategy, research and data science company advising media, technology, telecommunications and private equity firms.

Andrew Carmody, CEO of The Health Data Exchange and CMO at ViewersLogic - the first and only company that provides passively collected single-source data which measures consumer behaviour from media consumption to purchase, across TV, online and real-world.
